Warren J. Wilson, director of the South Dakota Board of Regents’ Information Systems, has been named to a joint appointment as chief information technology officer for Black Hills State University and executive director of the South Dakota Library Network (SDLN). Wilson will replace Arnie Hemmingson, chief information officer, who is retiring this spring. Hemmingson has led the computer and information technology department at BHSU since 1985.

Preparation for members of the Alternative Spring Break team is neither easy nor inexpensive; however, recent action by a community business leader once again exemplifies the great generosity of the Black Hills community.

fuqua_amy.jpg Dr. Amy Fuqua, associate professor in humanities, has been named interim director of the Honors Program at Black Hills State University. Fuqua has served on the Honors Advisory Council since 2005 and has taught Honors courses in composition and literature. She replaces Dr. Roger Ochse, who retired last semester.
