A QuickBooks training for advanced users will be held at the University Center-Rapid City Friday, March 30 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in computer lab 106.
The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University has partnered with the CPA firm Casey Peterson and Associates, Ltd. to bring this day-long seminar to the University Center.

In 2009, she became a certified consultant for the Sleeter Group Community Network, a community of experts in accounting software. She is also certified in QuickBooks Point of Sale.
Attendees will learn how to: create a detailed look at the item list, use double-sided items to implement job costing; use price levels; track time, inventory and sales tax; properly record liabilities on the balance sheet; perform payroll; use sub-accounts; understand equity accounts; customize reports; understand financial reports; enter and reconcile credit card charges; make journal entries; and use class tracking to track income and expenses for different locations.
