The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) at Black Hills State University will host the monthly Women in Networking (WIN) lunch at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Swarm Room Tuesday, Feb. 14 from noon to 1 p.m.
WIN is a membership-based group that provides networking opportunities for women. Meetings are held monthly on the second Tuesday. Members are welcome from any community in the Black Hills area and may bring a door prize to promote their business. “Join us to engage in networking with an incredible group of peers, business contacts, and inspiring women from Spearfish and surrounding communities who can help you succeed in business or personal growth,” says Helen Merriman, director of the SD CEO, which is located on the BHSU campus.
No commitment to membership is needed to attend the first meeting. Registration for each monthly meeting is $15 and includes lunch. Membership is $40 and can also be completed through online registration at www.BHSU.edu/sdceo or by phone at (605) 642-6435.
The SD CEO is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA), and is part of a network of more than 110 centers nationwide established through the SBA’s women’s business funding. While services are available to all those interested in entrepreneurship, there is a special emphasis on women, women veterans, Native Americans, the socially and/or economically disadvantaged, and youth entrepreneurs.
