Seven Black Hills State University photography students will be displaying recent work in a group exhibition through May 12 in the Photographers Gallery located in the basement of Jonas Hall on the BHSU campus.
The subject matter is wide-ranging and diverse and there are a variety of photographic mediums represented. Students participating in the exhibition are: Jamie Crowe, junior communication arts major from Black Hawk; Traci Stone, sophomore mass communications major from Spearfish; Leah Cleland, junior mass communications major from Chamberlain; Aaron Nelson, senior mass communications major from Harrisburg; Tara Arsaga, junior mass communications major from Ipswitch; Adam Roosa, sophomore mass communications major from Gillette Wyo.; and Michelle Hall, senior mass communications major from Lead.
The public is invited to attend a reception for the artists Thursday, April 12 from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. All seven artists will be on hand to answer questions regarding their work.
The Photographers Gallery is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information contact Steve Babbitt, professor of mass communications at BHSU, at 642-6769.
