BHSU to host summer learning camp for elementary school students

Black Hills State University will host a Summer Exploration Institute for children ages 8-10, June 28-July 2.

During the institute children will have the opportunity to get a workout of the mind and body with classroom activities and field trips to Spearfish Park, Sanford Lab and Tatanka. Participants will also participate in community service projects and have the chance to investigate archeological sites on a cultural exploration of a campsite that is over 100 years old at Fort Meade.

The cost of the Institute is $199, which includes all learning materials needed and a special edition t-shirt, BHSU backpack, lanyard, notebook, magnifying glass, and more. To complete an application visit edoutreach.bhsu.edu/registration and click on College for Teens and Kids.
