Take 5 winners announced

Six Black Hills State University students were recently named the winners in the Take 5 and Win $500 Challenge. Winners include: left to right, Clifton Bryan, senior mathematics major from Belle Fourche; Erin Thompson, senior science education major from Rapid City; Nikolaus Svihlik, sophomore English and mathematics major from Spearfish.

Black Hills State University recently named the winners of the Take 5 and Win $500 Challenge, which encourages BHSU students to register early for the fall 2010 semester to ensure an ideal class schedule.

The winner of the $500 scholarship was Erin Thompson, senior science education major from Rapid City, five others were chosen for $50 gift cards to the BHSU Bookstore. The recipients of the gift cards include: Nikolaus Svihlik, sophomore English and mathematics major from Spearfish; Clifton Bryan, senior mathematics major from Belle Fourche, Will Malde, senior physical education major from Hot Springs; Sarah Rosa, junior technology major from Rapid City; and Erica Sage, sophomore exercise science and psychology major from Piedmont.

BHSU students who registered by April 25 were entered into a drawing for one of five $50 gift certificates and a $500 scholarship sponsored by BHSU Center for Academic Success, University Bookstore, and Alumni Office.
