BHSU presents dark comedy theater production

Juhrend

Black Hills State University will be presenting Blood, a dark comedy written by a student, Jessica Juhrend, speech communications major from Spearfish.

Juhrend won a young playwright’s contest and had the murder mystery professionally produced by the Blank Theatre Company in Los Angeles, Cali. Blood takes the audience through the twists and turns that Addison, Tim, and Anthony Bennet must endure to figure out who killed their mother.

This edgy story attacks many contemporary issues relevant to several different generations. Blood is recommended for mature audiences due to adult language and situations.

The play will be performed Oct. 15, 16, and 17 at Woodburn Theater at 7:30 p.m. Price for tickets are as follows: $6 general admission, $3 seniors, and free to all BHSU students, faculty, and staff with a buzz card.
