Follow the Yellow Brick Road to BHSU

Follow the Yellow Brick road to Black Hills State University as the Black Hills Players perform “The Wizard of Oz” during the BHSU Summer Theatre Program. “Dorothy Gale,” Jessica Juhrend from Spearfish; “Scarecrow,” Tyler Raad, from Spearfish; “Cowardly Lion,” Andrew Rexroad from Rapid City; and “Tin man,” Philip Braun from Gregory perform a scene from “The Wizard of Oz.” The musical performance also includes 35 children from the community. The BHSU Summer Theatre program continues with performances of “The Wizard of Oz” July 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and July 19 and 26 at 2:30 p.m. The Summer Theatre will conclude the season with Bill Johnson’s melodrama “Dirty Work at the Crossroads” showing July 30, 31 and August 1 at 7:30 p.m. and August 2 at 2:30 p.m. All performances will be held in the Woodburn Theatre on the BHSU campus.
