Rodeo Club will host annual rodeo and auction this weekend

The Black Hills State University Rodeo Club will host the second annual Will Lantis Yellow Jacket Stampede Rodeo Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 25 at 1 p.m. The Cowboys and Candlelight Dinner and Auction will be held Saturday evening
at 6 p.m. at the Spearfish Holiday Inn.

The rodeo will be held at Seven Down Arena (I-90, exit 17; highway 85 south) in Spearfish. Ticket prices for the rodeo are: adults - $7; students - $3; and children age 12 and under are free.

The Cowboys and Candlelight Dinner and Auction will begin with a social hour followed by a prime rib dinner. Auction items include a weekend get-away package to the Mineral Palace Hotel and Gaming Resort in Deadwood; quilts, jewelry, belts, purses, tack, and several western decorating items; steaks package; and leather Rodeo Club jackets. Money raised will support the BHSU Rodeo Team. Live entertainment featuring the band, Rooster Juice will conclude the evening. Tickets for the dinner are $35 per person or $65 per couple and must be purchased no later than 12 noon Thursday, April 23.
