Workshop on credit scores to be held at BHSU

Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), a student organization at Black Hills State University, will offer a workshop to educate the public about the importance of credit scores Tuesday, March 3 at 7 p.m. in Jonas Hall, room 304 on the BHSU campus.

Terry Mills, education and community outreach manager from the Consumer Credit Counseling Center in Rapid City; and Dawn Laskowski, director of business development at Highmark Federal Credit Union in Rapid City, will present information about the importance of credit scores and how it affects future financial opportunities.

SIFE students design educational outreach projects that help students and individuals in the community develop a better understanding of the principles of free enterprise and to educate the public on different aspects of business and financial affairs.
