BHSU Yellow Jackets advance to semifinals in DAC tournament

The Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets men’s and women’s basketball teams both defeated Dakota State and advance to the semifinal round of the Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) on Wednesday, Feb. 25.

The women defeated Dakota State 88-70 and will now take on #3 ranked Jamestown College at 5:30 p.m. The men defeated Dakota State 100-82 and will take on # 4 ranked SDSM&T Hardrocker’s at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be at the Donald E. Young Sports and Fitness Center. Admission is $11 for adults and $4 for students.

The DAC tournament championship games will be held March 1. The 18th annual Division II tournaments will be March 11-17 at the Tyson Events Center/Gateway Arena in Sioux City, Iowa for the women; and Keeter Gymnasium in Point Lookout, Mo. for the men.
