BHSU to paint the streets gold at Downtown Friday Nights July 31

            Black Hills State University will paint the streets gold. July 31 is BHSU Night at Downtown Friday Nights in Spearfish. Kristin Carmichael, head volleyball coach, left, and John Reiners, head football coach, are wearing specially designed T-shirts for the event. T-shirts can be purchased in advance at the Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni Center, 1531 St. Joe St., for $5 and/or a donation to the Spearfish Food Pantry. T-shirts will also be available July 31 at the BHSU booth at Downtown Friday Nights.

       

   



Black Hills State University is ready to paint the streets gold. July 31 is BHSU Night at Downtown Friday Nights in Spearfish. BHSU invites all students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University to participate by wearing a specially designed T-shirt. T-shirts can be picked up in advance at the Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni Center at 1351 St. Joe St. A suggested donation of $5 and/or a food donation to the Spearfish Food Pantry is requested. All proceeds will benefit the Spearfish Food Pantry.

T-shirts will also be available July 31 at the BHSU booth, in front of the Jacket Zone at 617 Main St. There will be a variety of kids&rsquo activities and students and faculty available to provide details about the American Indian Studies program at BHSU.

The University also seeks volunteers to help spell out the letters BHSU within the crowd on Main Street. Volunteers need to wear their BHSU t-shirt and stand in a designated area for a few minutes.
