BHSU BOOKSTORE, JACKET ZONE, TO HOLD RIBBON CUTTING ON THURSDAY

           A grand opening will be held for the Jacket Zone, the newest location of the Black Hills State University Bookstore, at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 16 at 617 Main St. in downtown Spearfish. There will be prizes, give-a-way items and activities for the kids.

            

       

   



The Jacket Zone, the newest location of the Black Hills State University Bookstore, will hold a ribbon cutting on Thursday, July 16 at 3 p.m.

Jacket Zone, located at 617 Main St. in downtown Spearfish, offers a complete line of BHSU clothing and gifts. The ribbon cutting allows individuals to check out the new store and its merchandise.

A celebration will follow the ribbon cutting. Attendees can register for prizes, including Jacket Zone gift cards and gift baskets. Prizes will be drawn for at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Winners must be present to claim a prize. Special give-a-ways and activities for the kids, as well as a visit from Sting, the BHSU mascot, will take place.

Jacket Zone marks the University&rsquos fourth bookstore location. The largest BHSU store is on campus in the David B. Miller Yellow Jacket Student Union. There are satellite locations at BHSU-Rapid City, 4300 Cheyenne Blvd. and in downtown Rapid City at 706 Saint Joseph St. in the Estes Campbell Law Firm. Plans are being made for a second bookstore in Rapid City. A University Bookstore will also open in the Donald E. Young Sports &amp Fitness Center on campus.
