PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL BHSU ACCOUNTING FAIR

We are excited to offer this opportunity to bring employers who need accounting students and graduates together with our accounting majors from both of our locations in Spearfish and Rapid City. Our 2015 event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 29th in both Spearfish and Rapid City.

Employers Here is a great chance to specifically connect with BHSU accounting students looking for internships and career opportunities in the field of accounting. 

Any accounting firm or company seeking to connect with or employ BHSU accounting students in internships or full time positions after graduation is welcome to attend. If you do not have current openings you are welcome to attend and network with our accounting majors for possible future employment.

Students Join us for a wonderful opportunity to meet and network with accounting professionals who are specifically looking for students majoring in accounting. Also take the time to learn about firms and jobs that you may not have previously considered.

All junior and senior accounting majors are strongly encouraged to attend. Sophomores are welcome to attend as well for networking purposes. Students who RSVP by 9/22/15 will be excused from their classes during the career fair so they can attend and not worry about class conflicts.

Times and Location  The event will serve students at BOTH of our BHSU locations.

• Spearfish Joy Alumni Center, 1531 St. Joseph St. Set up 12:30 – 1:00 Introductions and "Accounting Jam*" 1:00 – 1:30 BHSU Accounting Career Fair 1:30 – 2:30

• Rapid City BHSU Rapid City, 4300 Cheyenne Blvd. Set up 5:00 – 5:30  Introductions and "Accounting Jam*" 5:30 – 6:00 BHSU Accounting Career Fair 6:00 – 7:00

*The Accounting Jam is an event where employers have 2 minutes to pitch their company to students in a short “elevator speech”.  After the company introductions, recruiters and students have a chance to mingle before the career fair officially begins.  The goal is to create a comfortable environment where students have a chance to meet employers and maybe peak their interest in companies they did not intend to approach.
