Tech for Retirees

The Black Hills State University enactus students and the South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity, Women's Business Center,  will host a Tech for Retirees session with a focus on how to use Zoom from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Students will offer one-on-one telephone conversations with retirees to help them load and use Zoom effectively. Follow-up practice sessions can be offered ahead, if needed.

Registration is limited to 12 participants for this first session, but if more interest exists, the students will stage additional sessions this fall. Enactus students will contact those who cannot participate in the first session to confirm a date ahead, after October 8. All times will be on Thursdays at 2:00 p.m.

Women In Networking

Join us for our October Women In Networking meeting on Tuesday, October 13 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM virtually over Zoom.

Women In Networking is an organization for women in business that provides an opportunity to widen their professional networks and promote your business and network with other women. Celebrating Women's Work: 100 Years of Suffrage

Celebrating Women's Work: 100 Years of Suffrage is a half day event on October 23, 2020 that will share the progress that has been made over the last 100 years as well as the gains yet to be made moving forward. This event is a celebration of the 100th anniversary since the passing of the 19th Ammendment which is when women started having the right to vote. You will learn about some of the historical women and events that have fueled the progress of women's rights over the last 100 years.   RESCHUDELED: 3rd Annual Women's Business Conference

Invest in your professional development and attend the third annual Women's Business Conference on Thursday, March 25 2021, at The Dakota Event Center  in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Due to the evolving situation around the COVID-19, we have decided to RESCHEDULE the 3rd Annual Women’s Business Conference originally scheduled for Thursday, March 26, 2020 and then moved to Thursday, August 19, 2020 at the Dakota Event Center in Aberdeen. All tickets purchased for the original March 26, 2020 conference will be applied to the March 25, 2021 date. Refunds available.

Our Keynote speaker this year is Jennifer Pharr Davis.  Jennifer is a hiker, author, National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, first woman record setter for fastest time hiking the entire Appalachian Trail, business owner, speaker, community leader, and a mom.For more information regarding the conference, visit our event page!

POSTPONED: Celebrating Women In Business Breakfast

The 11th Annual Celebrating Women in Business BREAKFAST is Thursday, May 21,2020 at the Holiday Inn Spearfish-Convention Center. This event honors and recognizes all working women whether they run their own business, aspiring entrepreneurs or work for someone else.

As part of the event, the SD CEO Celebrating Women In Business Awards program, in place since 2012, will be presenting awards to four outstanding women across the state.

Our keynote speakers are Kimberly Brave Heart, Owner and Executive Chef, Etiquette Catering & Owner, Painted Skye Management and Letti Lister, Publisher & President, Black Hills Pioneer.

Cost: $30 ($40 after Early Bird)

Women In Networking (WIN) luncheons  are the second Tuesday of every month. This is a membership group that provides the opportunity to promote your company and build relationships with other women in the community.

SD CEO Seminars and Major Events: All SD CEO registration payments are final. Your registration fee may be applied to a future event if you cancel at least 7 days prior to an event, or you may give your registration to a colleague or associate. Any registration cancellations less than 7 days prior to an event will not be applied to a future training.
Women in Networking (WIN): All WIN registration payments are final and cannot be applied to future events.
