Black Hills State University Announces Spring 2023 Concert Schedule

The music department at Black Hills State University has announced the dates, times, and locations for their upcoming university music events. All events are free and open to the public.  
 
The season begins with a performance from the BHSU Band on Saturday, March 4 at 7 p.m. in the Meier Recital Hall in Spearfish. Later that month, Black Hills State University will be home to the Choral Festival March 27 with entertainment and events all throughout the day. 
 
The music department’s April itinerary kicks off with the Northern Hills Chamber Chorale on April 2 at 2 p.m. The choir will be performing April 16 at 2 p.m. before touring across the state from April 17-19. Back in Spearfish, the orchestra will perform April 21 at 7 p.m. Soon after, on April 22, the Spring Band returns with a performance at 7 p.m. The Jazz Band will round out the week with a concert April 23 at 2 p.m. The spring semester comes to a crescendo with the Spring Music Festival April 29 on the campus green.
