BHSU to offer free webinar series about online business tactics

to attend a free online webinar series

offered by the Black Hills State University

School of Business. Dr. Max Marc, professor

of information systems, will lead the

webinars each Wednesday in April.

The Black Hills State University School of Business is offering a free online webinar series throughout the month of April for established local businesses who would like to increase their online presence.

The webinar series, “Growing your business online – Demystified” was established to assist local businesses who are now relying more heavily on their online presence due to the pandemic. Dr. Max Marc, professor of information systems at BHSU, will chair the 30-minute sessions each Wednesday in April. The format will be interactive, with participants encouraged to ask questions.

The sessions are targeted not at startups, but at established local businesses in Belle Fourche, Spearfish, Sturgis, and Rapid City, S.D. (although not limited to these areas).

-              Wednesday, April 8 at 8 a.m.: Crafting your online offering
-              Wednesday, April 15 at 8 a.m.: Advertising online: Is it worth your while?
-              Wednesday, April 22 at 8 a.m.: Leveraging low-cost strategies: Social media presence, Collecting Email Addresses, and Online Campaigns
 -             Wednesday, April 29, 8 a.m.: Acquiring your first online customer
