BHSU offers online graduate courses in history and English for the first time this summer
Black Hills State University will offer four new, online graduate courses in history and English this summer. Topics include poetry, history of the holocaust, early American history, and gothic British literature. There is still time to register by contacting Amy.Fuqua@BHSU.edu
Black Hills State University is offering four new, online graduate courses in history and English this summer. The first class begins Monday, June 5.
Dr. Amy Fuqua, graduate dean and dean of the College of Liberal Arts at BHSU, said the courses which are open to everyone, are specifically designed to ensure high school and community college teachers have access to completing continuing education and discipline hours.

The new graduate courses in history and English offered this summer include:
- Contemporary Poetry and Poetics taught by Dr. Courtney Huse Wika, assistant professor of English at BHSU: June 5 through July 14
- History of the Holocaust taught by Dr. Adam Blackler, assistant professor of history at BHSU: June 5 through July 28
- Early American History taught by Dr. Jason Daniels, assistant professor of history at BHSU: June 6 through July 28
- Gothic British Literature taught by Dr. Martin Fashbaugh, assistant professor of English at BHSU: June 19 through August 11
