The Black Hills State University Music Department will present several free concerts for the public this fall featuring piano, jazz, and orchestral performances.
"This year the BHSU Music Department continues to provide a mix of classic pieces and new experiences for our audiences. For example, the Dakota Chamber Orchestra Concert on Nov. 6 will feature "theatrical" music from opera and movies," Dr. Christopher Hahn, assistant professor of music, said.
He noted that concerts are free and that the Friends of Music collects donations at the door for funds to benefit scholarships for BHSU student musicians.
