SD CEO to celebrate holidays at networking event at the Joy Center

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO), the women's business center at Black Hills State University, will host the monthly Women in Networking (WIN) lunch at the BHSU Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni/Foundation Welcome Center Tuesday, Dec. 8 from noon-1 p.m. To celebrate the holidays the December meeting will feature networking and a festive holiday atmosphere.

Helen Merriman, SD CEO Director says, "The WIN holiday party is a great way to meet, network and celebrate the holidays with women in the Black Hills. If you want to thank your employees, it's a nice perk for them." Seating is limited so register early.

WIN is a membership-based group that provides networking opportunities for women.  "Networking is essential to our professional and personal growth. To grow in our careers and in our lives, we must connect with others who will "stretch" us and support us as we move forward in our respective journeys. In essence, networking is one of the key ingredients to creating compassionate, courageous and 'connected' professionals," says member Dr. Priscilla Romkema, dean of BHSU's School of Business and Natural Sciences.

Meetings are regularly held monthly on the second Tuesday of the month at the Spearfish Holiday Inn, with this special exception.  Members are welcome from any community in the Black Hills and may bring a door prize to promote their business.

You do not need to be a member to attend this holiday WIN. Registration is $15, please register by Tuesday, Dec. 1 at www.BHSU.edu/SDCEO or by phone at (605) 642-6435. Late registration is $20.
