Andrey Reznikov has been teaching at the college level since 1978; he joined the faculty of Black Hills State University in 2004. He received his Ph.D. in Linguistics and Master’s degree in English and translation from St. Petersburg University (St. Petersburg, Russia). His research interests include grammar and sociolinguistics (interaction between language and society); among the courses he teaches are Fundamentals of English Grammar, History of the English Language, Introduction to Linguistics, Introduction to Humanities, Teaching English as a Second Language, and Composition. For over 20 years, Dr. Reznikov has been principal translator and interpreter for the Russian-American Rule of Law Consortium, non-profit rule of law exchange programs, partnering ten US states with ten regions of the Russian Federation. He has published over 50 articles and books (including textbooks) in the area of grammar and sociolinguistics.
