I came to BHSU in the fall of 2005 from the University of Colorado. My research activities include the examination of campus riots, inter-group and intra-group conflict, and domestic violence. I was a research assistant at the Conflict Research Consortium for five years during which time I worked on two principle projects, The Conflict Resolution Information Project and The Intractable Conflict Knowledge Base Project. In 2001 I received a certificate from the Public Conversations Project on The Power of Dialogue: Constructive Conversations on Divisive Issues.
