Free COVID tests will be available for students and employees at the mass testing event in the Young Center Field House, Tuesday, August 24 from 9a.m. to 1p.m. The test, which is a non-invasive nasal swab, takes just minutes to complete and results are expected to be available in three or four days.
The virus can spread even if a person with the virus is experiencing no symptoms. This is why identifying asymptomatic cases is important in our effort to slow the spread.
A limited number of tests are available. Appointments are not required.
These tests are for people with no symptoms.
If you have symptoms:
Call your health provider, contact the BHSU Student Health Services (605-642-6520), or go to Monument Health or Black Hills Urgent care for testing
Those who've received a COVID vaccination (1 vaccine shot and/or both shots) should not participate in this testing event.
TEST TYPE: Nucleic Acid Amplification Nasal Swab test (anterior nares)
Please bring this waiver of liability and identification.
