Magical winter views and iconic wildlife of the Black Hills are showcased in the 2017 holiday video produced by Black Hills State University. The university is proud to share the majesty of the Black Hills in its annual holiday video and offers a welcome break from the sometimes hectic holiday season.

“Whether you live here now, have visited before, or dream of a visit to the Black Hills, our holiday video highlights the peace, serenity and spirit of the Black Hills for everyone who experiences it,” said Dr. Tom Jackson, Jr., BHSU President.

Winter activities abound in the Black Hills and students, staff and faculty at BHSU enjoy the magic the season brings. The video also highlights the holiday atmosphere in the newly-named Bordeaux Residence Hall lobby. Staff, students and faculty decorated the hall where all can find cozy break from winter while still enjoying spectacular views of Crow Peak and Lookout Mountain. This central lobby connects the university’s three largest residence halls.

Sharing the beauty of the Black Hills and connecting with people near and far is the goal of the University’s annual holiday video. BHSU has been nationally recognized for its holiday greeting the last two years, most recently being named one of the “Top #highered Holiday Cards-2016 Edition”” by
