BHSU NAMES RECIPIENTS OF ANNUAL STUDENT VOLUNTEER AWARDS

On April 19th, Black Hills State University recognized exemplary students during the Student Volunteer Awards that took place in the Meier Recital Hall.

This event marked the 30th Annual Student Volunteer Awards Celebration, held by the Student Engagement and Leadership Center. The celebration gives seven individual awards, five organizational awards, and one scholarship each year. The theme for this year’s awards was “Leaving a Legacy.”

“This year has been one for the record books as we all learned together how we were going to reset and go back to normal after COVID. While it has not by any means been easy, I loved watching each student leader grow in leadership from planning exciting new events, stepping up into new leadership roles, starting new organizations, or simply helping your organization get more involved on campus,” said Jessie Gramm, student engagement coordinator at BHSU.
