Adobe InDesign basics training to be held at BHSU

A hands-on workshop "InDesign Basics" will be held at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, in Jonas Academic Hall, room 207 (Mac Lab).

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO), located on campus of BHSU has partnered with the BHSU mass communication department to bring this day-long workshop to BHSU.

The workshop will be instructed by Dustin Hinson, assistant professor of mass communications at BHSU. According to Hinson, "Adobe InDesign is a great way for you to create engaging and professional page layouts for print and digital media with its built-in creative tools and precise control over typography."

During this workshop, participants will learn: the basics of the InDesign workspace creating and saving documents using the type tool importing graphics using frames formatting and selecting objects exporting a PDF and working with swatches.
