Project management workshop to offered

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) Women's Business Center at Black Hills State University will be holding a project management workshop Thursday, Jan. 28 from 9 am-3:30 pm at BHSU-RC, room 105.

Dr. Rachel MK Headley will instruct the workshop. She is the owner and principal of Cobblestone Science, a management consulting company. She is a certified project management professional with the Project Management Institute.

Workshop attendees will learn more about basic project management skills, including: planning that includes budget and schedules dealing with changing client requests better team communication and reducing stress and increasing your chances of success with your project. Participants should come with a project idea, and they will leave knowing how to better manage it.

According to Dr. Headley, "Project management can offer benefits to businesses regardless of their size, or the scale of projects they need to manage. This workshop will benefit CEO's, owners, managers, and employees in nearly all business or industry."
