With the start of the New Year, the South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity, TheOWN and Aspiring Business Consulting are partnering to bring you the first annual Entrepreneurial Boot Camp on Friday, January 13 at BHSU-Rapid City, an open event for all those thinking of starting a business.

This day long, hands on learning experience is specifically designed for current and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in starting a business or a nonprofit. Participants can be individuals with a new business plan, idea, or individuals with an established business who are seeking to expand or renovate their business.

"This one day seminar will address the fundamentals of starting a business," says Helen Merriman, Director of SD CEO. "It will give participants the opportunity to meet and network with established business professionals who can help guide their dreams into reality."

The event will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Auditorium Room 112 at BHSU-Rapid City. The boot camp will cover topics such as about preparing a business plan, funding your business, establishing a for profit or nonprofit entity, marketing your business and more.

Those planning on attending the first annual entrepreneurial boot camp should take advantage of the early bird cost at $50. Register by January 1 by calling 642-6435 or online at www.BHSU.edu/SDCEO.
