The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) Women's Business Center at Black Hills State University, in partnership with GenPro Energy Solutions and Black Hills State University Facilities Services will be holding a workshop, "Make Energy Make Cents for Your Business" in Rapid City and Spearfish. The workshops will be held Wednesday, March 2 from 9 am-noon at BHSU-RC in room 105 and again Thursday, March 3, 9 am-noon at BHSU in Spearfish at the Joy (Proctor) Krautschun Alumni/Foundation Welcome Center.

The workshops will be instructed by Molly Brown, Director of Marketing and Program Management for GenPro Energy Solutions, Katherine Greer, Assistant Director for BHSU Facilities Services, and Tim Teeslink, Solar Energy Specialist for GenPro Energy Solutions.

Workshop attendees will find out what energy efficiency measures and renewable energy options are right for their business-and how to afford them. "Energy works the same for everyone, the only difference is scale and how it is paid for," says Greer.

The workshop will give attendees an introduction to energy efficiency, solar and wind energy, explain where each project is most suitable, and dissect how to get the best return on investment including detail on grants, rebates, and tax incentives.

Cost of the workshop is $40 per person. Registration deadline is Feb. 29. To register or to learn more, visit or call Andrea Bakeberg, assistant director for SD CEO, at 605-642-6435.
