SD CEO selects new Assistant Director

Ms. Andrea Bakeberg has accepted a position as Assistant Director of the South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity SD CEO Women&rsquos Business Center at Black Hills State University, starting May 1, 2015. Bakeberg received her undergrad from BHSU and is currently enrolled in the MBA in Applied Management program at BHSU.

We look forward to continued opportunities for the SD CEO to grow and know that Andrea&rsquos dedication, experience and skill set will prove invaluable in our continued success as the only women&rsquos business center in South Dakota," says SD CEO Director Helen Merriman.

Bakeberg succeeds current Assistant Director, Brittni Skipper. Skipper completed her undergrad and received a Master&rsquos Degree in Strategic Leadership from BHSU. Skipper began with the SD CEO four years ago as part-time secretary before being promoted to Program Assistant I, then Assistant Director.

SD CEO&rsquos mission is to provide comprehensive training, support and counseling for aspiring and established entrepreneurs to foster economic development in South Dakota. While services are available to anyone interested in business, the center has a special emphasis on: women Native Americans socially and economically disadvantaged youth entrepreneurs and women veterans.
