Nuts and Bolts of Employment Law Workshop to be offered

The South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity (SD CEO) Women&rsquos Business Center at Black Hills State University will be holding a workshop, "Nuts and Bolts of Employment Law" Thursday, February 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the University Center-Rapid City, room 201.

This workshop is presented by Jane Pfeifle, Lynn, Jackson, Shultz &amp Lebrun, P.C. Pfeifle will cover the Americans with Disabilities Act the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, the Family Medical Leave Act sexual harassment discrimination employment at-will and termination of employees. Pfeifle concentrates her practice in all areas of employer-employee relations law. She received both her J.D. degree and B.A. (magna cum laude) from the University of South Dakota. She is the editor of the South Dakota Employment Law Letter and has been recognized in "Best Lawyers in America" for employment and education law.

Attendees of this workshop will learn to recognize and address the most important areas of the law facing employers and employees. "After the seminar, you&rsquoll be able to spot issues and head off problems before they start," says Pfeifle.
