Christmas is the season of giving. In addition to good company, great food, and holiday wishes, the Black Hills State University Administrative Team used their holiday get-together as an opportunity to give back to their community in a multitude of ways.

During the group's annual gathering, BHSU Administrative Team members shared their holiday giving plans.

"The BHSU leadership team approached our holiday giving this year with a commitment to our charities," said Jackson. "It's gratifying to see the diverse and unique causes that the team is involved with throughout the year and hear their plans for holiday donations of time and money."

The group, which includes BHSU President Tom Jackson, Jr., University vice presidents, and directors, shared how they give their time and money to causes ranging from clean water efforts in a village in Africa, medical and expense assistance to a co-worker's son who has cancer, Pilots and Paws flights, Angel Tree donations, funds for local single parent families, addiction recovery programs and others.
