Just a reminder, there are donors who send BHSU their scholarship information and we post it on our website, www.bhsu.edu/scholarships, Outside Scholarship tab, choose Location as  “Outside” and running it wide open is probably the best scenario. 

 

These are updated as we receive them so please visit the site frequently as their due dates are commonly from January-April, but some have later deadlines.

Welcome to the spring 2015 semester!  Hope your classes are going well.

Just a reminder to go out and Web Advisor/SDePay/Current Activity to make sure your bill is paid in full. 

For those that may have received a refund of excess financial aid: if you have made any changes to classes, or other charges, make sure you check Current Activity -- while your refund was being processed your cost difference may not be reflected in your refund, you may now owe.

Nominations sought for BHSU Rodeo Hall of Fame

Black Hills State University will once again honor those individuals who have made significant contributions to the University’s rodeo program. 

Nominations are currently being accepted for the BHSU Rodeo Hall of Fame. Those eligible include: stand-out athletes with emphasis on national performers, significant contributors to the BHSU rodeo program, and former BHSU rodeo coaches/advisors.

BHSU Rodeo Team donates money to South Dakota Rancher Relief Fund

Black Hills State University Rodeo Team Captain Katie Doll, exercise science major from Prairie City, presents Silvia Christen, executive director of the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association, a check for $1,335. Each year the BHSU rodeo team sells calendars and donates a portion of the proceeds to benefit area programs. This year they chose to donate money to the state Ranchers Relief Fund, a fund established last October to provide support and financial assistant to those in the agriculture industry impacted by Winter Storm Atlas.
