TIMESHEETS MUST BE SUBMITTED ON SNAP BY WEDNESDAY: April 22, 2020 BY 9:00 AM MT

Please note, missed timesheet submissions or approvals will cause a delay in pay so be mindful of the deadline!

Hourly employees and student workers should always record all actual hours worked. There are 176 total hours in this current pay period; including 16 hours of Administrative Leave for 4/10/20 and 4/13/20.

CURRENT PAY PERIOD: 3/22/2020 THROUGH 4/21/2020

Supervisors – all timesheets must be approved BY 2 PM Wednesday as processes start that afternoon. Prior to approving any timesheets please check the leave request systems for outstanding leave requests. Once the leave is approved the timesheet should be updated with the appropriate leave and approved for processing. Please note, if the timesheet approval deadline is missed, your employee(s) will experience a delay in receiving a paycheck.

EMPLOYEES, please make sure your timesheet has been submitted and approved by your supervisor prior to 2:00 PM on Wednesday.

If you are not an employee who is required to submit a timesheet or exception time on SNAP, please disregard this message.

Joe Rainboth named Admissions Director at BHSU

Joe Rainboth has been selected as the Director of Admissions at Black Hills State University. Rainboth, who currently is working for the South Dakota Department of Education, has more than 10 years of professional experience in university admissions, enrollment, and student services. He previously served as Assistant Director of Admissions at BHSU and as Admissions Regional Director at the University of South Dakota (USD).
 

BHSU science lab being used to sterilize ambulance equipment

A science lab on the campus of Black Hills State University is being utilized to sterilize supplies for the Spearfish Emergency Ambulance Service. With an expected increase in use of facemasks and other equipment as the medical community prepares for the COVID-19 pandemic, the Spearfish Emergency Ambulance Service is proactively testing a process to decontaminate masks using an autoclave in one of the BHSU science labs.
