Sandy Burns is the CEO of Project Solutions Inc. Since the year 2000 when Sandy was awarded the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Support Services contract for the state of South Dakota, her team has worked closely with the owners of over 200 businesses in 34 states. As a consultant for small minority and woman owned companies, she has provided business development, marketing, and training to increase their ability to bid on projects. From the initial deliberate passion to “level the playing field” for ALL small business owners, Ms. Burns has built a company that now employs 35 people in five states and overseas, providing project management services for many government entities. Sandy has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Petroleum Refining Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
