Susan earned both her Chartered Accountant and Certified General Accountant designations. Susan also holds her CSP - The CSP is the highest earned designation presented by the National Speakers Association. Susan is one of them! - and she has recently been inducted into the Canadian Speakers Hall of Fame. Members are selected by their peers in recognition of their business success and contributions to the Association.
Susan is a serial entrepreneur – She is the past owner of an Internet presence company, a web based software development company whose product was marketed exclusively on the Internet and sold in 60 countries in 60 days immediately after launch, numerous online businesses, a children’s clothing line, a manufacturers rep business, a unique children’s product business that she took from concept to design to manufacturing to international sales in 12 months to name just a few.
Susan was also an International Trade Commissioner for the Government of Canada. As an International Trade Commissioner, Susan advised many information technology and other industries on exporting and international marketing of their products and services. In that position she organized and led trade delegations to many areas of the United States, England, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Russia, Ukraine, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, and Chile.
As a result of technological changes and increased global competitiveness, the need for a strong Internet presence is essential. Susan is married to another entrepreneur. They have 3 children that are following in their footsteps. Kaitlyn has just graduated law school and is continuing her studies to facilitate her plan to practice in the area of Intellectual Property with a focus on genomics and health law. Kara is just completing her MBA and currently has 3 successful businesses including a social media management business where she has clients throughout North America and Europe. Andrew is studying photography in New York and has a successful graphic design and marketing business.
Susan and her husband Miles divide their time between their homes in Nova Scotia and Florida.

Priscilla was born and raised in Spearfish, SD where she earned her undergraduate degree at BHSU. She went on to the University of Wyoming for her Ph.D. in education and taught at various universities following that. Priscilla is currently a member of the Zonta Club of Spearfish, the Spearfish Area Community Foundation, National Association for Business Teach Education (NABTE), and the National Business Education Association Executive Board.

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Patri resided in New York, Florida and Texas before calling the Black Hills ‘home.’ She provides an inclusive design process and responsive project leadership. Patri works closely with clients, expert consultants, and contractors to create thoughtful design solutions that are elegantly situated within their contexts. She holds a BS in Environmental Design from the Universidad de Puerto Rico in San Juan, PR and a Master of Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Patri is licensed to practice architecture in the states of South Dakota, North Dakota, Nebraska, Montana and Wyoming.

In 2011 the Sandra McNeely and her husband founded Abbey Legacy, a firm dedicated to providing such services to family business. Both firms operate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Rapid City, South Dakota. Prior to establishing the Abbey companies, Sandra McNeely served as the Director of the Marquette University Center for Family Business working with family businesses ranging in size from ten employees to over one thousand employees with annual revenues ranging from two million to over one hundred million dollars. She has been a presenter for Inland Press Association; National Shoe Retailers Association, Prairie Family Business Association, Marquette University Center for Family Business, Executive Women International, Milwaukee Chapter; Tempo International; the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee; and other various state and national trade associations. She founded the Marquette University Family Business Excellence Awards. Ms. McNeely is a member of the Prairie Family Business Association and a board member of several family businesses, closely-held businesses and nonprofit organizations.

Cecilia (Lia) Green started her career at KTOQ on the sales team and the last 30 years have been invested in one of the six different companies who’ve owned KKLS, KKMK, KOUT, KFXS, KRCS and KBHB. Lia has worked on the sales team, as sales manager, station manager, VP/Market Manager and is currently President of New Rushmore Radio, Inc. Lia has been and continues to be involved in helping the community progress through her work on the Black Hills Playhouse Board, Regional Hospital Foundation, Black Hills Community Foundation, Destination Downtown Rapid City, Rapid City Regional Health Board, and numerous other activities. Lia is the past chair of the SD Broadcasters Association, The Rapid City Chamber of Commerce, Winner of the Black Hills Advertising Federation Silver Medal Award in 2002, and the Athena Award in 2007.
