AAUW Work Smart Workshop for Women

Join accomplished facilitators and receive instruction and coaching on how to develop your value statement and use it to interview and negotiate your salary and benefits. The American Association of University Women (AAUW), BHSU, SD CEO and SDSMT present a FREE “Work Smart” workshop for working women of any age and career level on Thursday, February 21, 8:30am – 11:30am at the BHSU Rapid City campus.

Whether you see a job interview and salary negotiation in your near future, or you want to build confidence in your value and contribution to your existing employee, this workshop will provide you the necessary skills through class instruction and facilitator led role playing.

Tech for Retirees

The Enactus BHSU students and the South Dakota Center for Enterprise Opportunity will host a Tech for Retirees session from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21st in Jonas Academic Hall Room 205 on the BHSU campus. Students will offer one-on-one help with Facebook navigation, including privacy settings, and with other platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat. Students can also help attendees improve their use of iPhone and Android functions.

Women In Networking: Celebrating Women's History Month

Join us for our March Women In Networking meeting on Tuesday, March 12 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. This month's luncheon will be held at the Spearfish Holiday Inn, '76 Room.

Kelly Kirk, Instructor of History at Black Hills State University, will be our Spotlight Speaker for a special presentation as we celebrate Women's History Month

Women In Networking is an organization for women in business that provides an opportunity to widen their professional networks and promote your business and network with other women. WIN connects women, familiarizes participants with other businesses and/or upcoming events, and supports the SD CEO Women's Business Center.

2nd Annual Women's Business Conference- Aberdeen

Invest in your professional development and attend the second annual Women's Business Conference-Aberdeen on Friday, March 29, 2019, at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Our Keynote Speaker is Meg Manke, Chief Operating Office of the Rose Group Int'l.

Hear from successful entrepreneurs, local women executives and be inspired by dynamic speakers! You will leave rejuvenated and refreshed with new tools and ideas on how to approach your work and your life. Visit exhibitor booths throughout the day, and register to win door prizes. Lunch is included.

The event will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. with breaks throughout the day to network and visit exhibitors. The event will conclude at 4:00 p.m.

10th Annual Celebrating Women In  Business

Join us for our  10th Annual "Celebrating Women In Business" luncheon and wards on Friday, May 17, 2019 at the Holiday Inn Spearfish Convention Center.  

Doors open and the exhibitor showcase begins at 10:00 am, and the luncheon will be from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy:

SD CEO Seminars and Major Events: All SD CEO registration payments are final. Your registration fee may be applied to a future event if you cancel at least 7 days prior to an event, or you may give your registration to a colleague or associate. Any registration cancellations less than 7 days prior to an event will not be applied to a future training.
Women in Networking (WIN): All WIN registration payments are final and cannot be applied to future events.

SD CEO Scholarships

SD CEO provides the highest quality workshops, professional development events, and training programs. Financial aid based on need is available for individuals who would otherwise be unable to access our services. The SD CEO offers scholarships up to 75% of the total program/event cost. The following information will be used to determine your scholarship eligibility and discount if selected. Scholarship are given based on the availability of scholarship funds. Scholarship preference is given to those who have a financial need, own or work for a small business, or work for a non-profit.
