Black Hills State University - Rapid City is proud to announce two scholarship opportunities for our students: The John T. Vucurevich Foundation Scholarship and the Rapid City Campus Book Scholarship.
John T. Vucurevich Foundation Scholarship
BHSU-RC acquired grant funding in the amount of $80,000 from the John T. Vucurevich Foundation to provide scholarships to undergraduate students attending classes at the Rapid City Campus. Any student taking at least half of her/his classes at BHSU-RC - regardless of home institution - is eligible for the scholarship. Recipients will receive $3,000 for the academic year if they are full-time students. Part-time students will be pro-rated based on enrollment. The scholarship is renewable from Fall to Spring if the student has at least a 2.0 GPA, and continues to take at least half of their credits at BHSU-RC.
Rapid City Campus Book Scholarship
The Rapid City Campus Book Scholarship is open to any BHSU-RC student (including graduate students), regardless of home institution. Recipients will receive $500 per year if they are full-time students and $250 per year if they are below 12 credits.
