Black Hills State University - Rapid City is proud to announce two scholarship opportunities for our students: The John T. Vucurevich Foundation Scholarship and the Rapid City Campus Book Scholarship.
John T. Vucurevich Foundation Scholarship
BHSU-RC acquired grant funding in the amount of $80,000 from the John T. Vucurevich Foundation to provide scholarships to undergraduate students attending classes at the Rapid City Campus. Any student taking at least half of her/his classes at BHSU-RC - regardless of home institution - is eligible for the scholarship. Full-time students can receive $1500 per semester. Part-time students will be pro-rated based on enrollment. The scholarship is renewable from Fall to Spring if the student has at least a 2.0 GPA, and continues to take at least half of their credits at BHSU-RC.
Rapid City Campus Book Scholarship
The Rapid City Campus Book Scholarship is open to any BHSU-RC student (including graduate students), regardless of home institution. Recipients will receive $500 per year if they are full-time students and $250 per year if they are below 12 credits.
*By filling out this one application, your information is submitted for both scholarship opportunities. Applicants who did not receive the scholarship in Fall 2018 may reapply for Spring 2019.

The deadline to apply for Spring 2019 is December 2, 2018. Applicants will be notified by December 14, 2018 of the committees decision.
