Computer Labs

IITS provides many computing facilities across our campus. There are several computer labs available for students, faculty, and staff use. Each lab has at least one black and white printer. To use these computers, you need only your login information and a valid Buzz Card to print. Need your login information? Visit Login Help

Need a laptop?
BHSU also provides free laptop rental for faculty, students, and staff at two different locations. These laptops are equipped with the latest software offered by Black Hills State University as well as wireless Internet. The E.Y. Berry Library Learning Center has laptops available for checkout--at no cost--with a valid Buzz Card. Laptops are also available at the Student Union Information Desk by presenting your Buzz Card. Laptops from these locations must remain in their respective buildings and cannot be rented for longer than 2 hours at a time.

Community Access to Computers
There is one public computer located in the library and community members may use these any time. Find out more about resources for community members at the BHSU Library.

There are three public kiosks placed across the campus. The kiosks are limited to 15 minutes of use and can be used by anyone to quickly check email, schedules, or other web content. These kiosks can be found in the following locations:

  • Student Union Information Desk
  • Meier Hall 2nd floor lobby
  • Young Center Information Desk
