How do I upload a file to SkyDrive Pro?


  1. Log in to and click on “SkyDrive” in the upper-right corner
  2. Drag the document over the section that reads “drag files here” and release


  1. Click “new document
  2. Click “Upload Existing File
  3. Browse to the file you wish to upload
  4. Uncheck “Add as a new version to existing files” if you do not want any files to be overwritten
  5. Choose a folder on your SkyDrive
  6. Add any version comments if you want
  7. Click “OK”


  1. Click “Files” in the upper-left corner
  2. Click “Upload Document
  3. Follow steps 3-7 listed in the previous section

SkyDrive Pro Windows Client

  1. Copy and paste files into your SkyDrive Pro folder


  1. Open your SkyDrive Pro folder
  2. In a new window, browse to the files or folders you want to upload
  3. Drag files or folders into the SkyDrive Pro folder

  1. Within an app, select “Share” and/or “Open in Another App
  2. Select “Open in SkyDrive Pro
  3. Sign in, if you haven’t already
  4. Tap on “Upload to SkyDrive Pro” at the bottom of the screen
