Services

Network & Computing offers the following services to BHSU to students, faculty and staff:

  • Email
    You may check your email via Outlook, on your office computer, or you may use Outlook Web Access from any computer with Internet access. The Black Hills State University email system is protected from virus/worms/spam/and other potentially dangerous electronic communications. Find out more about email access and email lists you can subscribe to from BHSU so you can keep up with your favorite groups, organizations or sports. Read more...
     
  • Network
    The Academic Network consists of computer labs, classrooms, research facilities, training labs, and other areas where students and computing technology come together. Get wired in or connect wirelessly at BHSU. If you're on campus, ResNet (Residential Computing Services) is a residence-wide computer network that provides access to university resources and the Internet throughout the residence halls.   • L Drive
    Black Hills State University offers access to your L Drive files from any computer with an internet connection, on or off campus! The L Drive provides access to files to both faculty and students. An L Drive folder is given per the request of your faculty and is limited to class use. Read more...
     
  • Mobile Printing
    NCS offers printing services in the form of Mobile Printing using software called Uniprint. BHSU students, faculty, and staff can have consistently fast, reliable and seamless printing from anywhere, anytime, to select campus printers. Read more...
     
  • Software
    Network and Computing provides a large variety of software and applications, designed to assist faculty, staff, and students in meeting their specific needs. From downloads like Adobe Acrobat Reader to Symantec Anti-Virus available to all students and staff, BHSU offers a wide variety of software and applications.
