Rental hours are Monday or Friday between 2:00 - 5:30. There is an additional $10 charge for evening or weekend pick ups or drop offs.
In addition to normal rental fees associated with gear, all rentals require a holding deposit in the form of cash or check. The deposit is $25 or 50% of total rental fee, whichever is higher. In the event that gear is returned late, damaged, or unclean, deposits will be cashed and utilized to cover these costs; if the amount is larger, renters will be contacted within a week with the total fee. Fees must be paid within 5 business days or rental privileges will be lost.
Due Dates and Late Fees
All equipment is due on the date and time specified on the Rental Agreement Form that is completed at equipment pick up. Renters are charged the " day"="" rate="" for="" each="" day="" the="" equipment="" is="" late;="" fees="" continue="" to="" accrue="" until="" returned.=""
Damage and Replacement Fee
If any part of equipment is damaged, lost, and/or rendered permanently unusable, the charge will be equivalent to the replacement value of the entire item. If a part is broken or lost and can be replaced, the cost of the part will be assigned as a damage fee. This will be deducted from your deposit; if the amount is larger, renters will be contacted within a week with the total fee. Fees must be paid within 5 business days or you will lose rental privileges, BHSU administrative staff may be notified, and a noticed may be placed in campus communications.
Renters who return excessively dirty or wet equipment will be charged a cleaning fee appropriate to the offense. The cleaning fee will vary; the maximum is $20. Renters are strongly encouraged to clean off and DRY ALL rented equipment items.
Acknowledgement of Policies, Risk and Release of Claims
In order to rent gear, the renter must read and sign an acknowledgement of Policies, Risk, and Release of Claims form.
