Ms. Bucher has served the American Indian Health Research Program in this capacity since the program’s inception. Ms. Bucher’s professional experience includes: administrative assistant to the plant manager of OEM Worldwide, Spearfish, SD; Secretary to the Chiefs of Fiscal Service, Medical Administration Service, Acquisition and Material Management Service, and Substance Use/PTSD Program at VA Medical Center, Fort Meade, SD; secretary to the administrator of Sturgis Community Hospital at Sturgis, SD; legal secretary to attorneys in South Dakota and Wyoming; secretary to the Executive Director of North Central Health Services, Spearfish, SD; and secretary to the principal of West Elementary School in Spearfish, SD.
