Dr. Cheryl Anagnopoulos

Cheryl Anagnopoulos, Ph.D.
Researcher
Dr. Anagnopoulos received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology with certification in Gerontology from the University of Kansas. In addition to serving as a researcher with the American Indian Health Research Program, she is a professor of psychology at Black Hills State University. Previously, Dr. Anagnopoulos received a grant from the National Institute on Aging to investigate stereotypes of aging among Lakota people. Currently, she is beginning a pilot study with the Northern Cheyenne Tribe in Montana to examine patterns of health service utilization and the factors contributing to usage or non-usage.
