Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Carly Schmidt. I am a student at BHSU and work as an Student Technology Fellow (STF). This is my second year attending BHSU and as an STF for the school. So far I have really enjoyed the work I've done as an STF. Last year I learned a lot about the online program Desire 2 Learn. I worked on creating video tutorials for staff who do not know how to use the program effectively. This year I am working on the web side of the STF program. Some of the work I am looking forward to doing this year deals with Photoshop and design elements involved in creating functional and interesting websites. I took a graphic design class in high school, where I learned a lot about CS Photoshop. Some things I really enjoy doing for work or play are taking pictures and drawing. Taking pictures is something that I really began doing in high school when I took photography. Since then I have realized how much I love to do it and how much it has helped me grow as a person. Drawing, on the other hand, has always been something I enjoy doing. From a young age my friends and family would comment on my drawings, and as I got older it almost became who I was. Throughout these past few years I have learned a lot about the world around me and about myself. In the years of college I have left I can only expect to learn a whole lot more!
