About Me

I grew up on a ranch outside a tiny town called Colome, which is located in south-central South Dakota. My family is rather large; I have four brothers and three sisters. Six of us are married and five have children, which means family get-togethers involve lots of food and lots of fun!

Throughout high school, I was involved in cheerleading, dance, oral interpretation, school plays, student government, American Legion Oratory, and National Honor Society. I was also a legislative page during the 4th term of the 2009 SD Legislature. In May of 2009, I graduated from Colome High. The following summer I worked as a camp counselor at Victory Center Bible Camp.

Currently, I am majoring in Mathematics Education and plan to graduate in May of 2013. I have finished my upper level math classes and will be devoting this year to my methods classes and student teaching.

I enjoy drawing, gardening, baking, horseback riding, swimming, dancing, taking photos, and hanging out with friends and family. Getting to know many new friends has been so much fun during my educational career at BHSU!
