Photoshop Basics

Classroom Workshop

One of the most daunting parts of digital photography for many is learning to use Photoshop.  We will walk you through the basic functions of Photoshop and how to take your image from first opening it in Photoshop to preparing it for printing or display on the web.  Discussing such topics as Levels Adjustment, image sizing, using a color space, the differences between JPEG and TIFF formats and how to use the sharpening tools.

Things to know
This is designed for the basic entry level user.

What to bring
We recommend bringing your own laptop with either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements loaded to get the most out of this class but the campus computers will be used for those who don’t have computers or software available.
