Studio Lighting for Still Life
Classroom Workshop

Not all photographs are able to be made outdoors in natural light…nor should they.  Having a basic studio setup allows the photographer to make images in any weather conditions or in any environment.  We will walk you through the process of getting the most out of electronic studio lighting equipment and how to effectively light a still-life scene.  Subjects will range from western cowboy tack and gear to floral displays or even pottery.  Have something that has been difficult for you to photograph?  Bring it along and work it into a display and have us show you how to effectively light it.

What to bring
Camera and tripod (helpful but not necessary) and lenses from 28mm to 200mm.  Also bring any item you may want help leaning how to light effectively.
