Alternative Processes Using Digital Negatives
Indoor/Outdoor workshop

This workshop will concentrate on making digital files to create negatives for use in alternative photographic processes that require contact printing, such as cyanotype, VanDyke Brown, salt and Platinum processes. Photographers have the ability to utilize the new methods of controlling the craft of photography that are being invented and adapted to combine contemporary and historical photographic processes. Digital negatives allow a higher degree of control to the photographer who wishes to take the next step in making the most of the marriage of digital and traditional photography.

Participants will have the opportunity to create their own digital negatives and print cyanotype images during this workshop. If weather allows the cyanotype portion of this workshop will be held outdoors.
