Close-ups in Nature
Robert Capa once said, “If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough.” He was talking about war photography, but we’re going to apply the same reasoning to our nature photography in this session. We will talk about getting close and how to organize a detail shot.
Low. Light hiking of up to 1/4 mile could be required for the best angles.
Things to know
This workshop will be held at DC Booth Historic Fish Hatchery
What to bring
A macro lens or any close-up equipment would be useful for this session. A good tripod and head will also be of benefit. Any reflectors or diffusers to control light might prove helpful.
